Worth Baptist Church

Fort Worth, TX
Pastor Weaver

Lindsay, Alysha, Alissa and I are so very thankful that the Lord blessed us with Dads who love and serve the Lord and taught us to love and serve Him too! We can never thank them enough for the sacrifices they've made and the examples they've been. Spending Father's Day apart from our Dads was difficult but no matter where the Lord leads we will always be our Daddys little girls.

The Sunday morning service at Worth Baptist Church was very special. It was nice to see Tyler Gillet, their Youth Director, and his wife, both graduates of Crown College. For Sunday school we sang and shared our salvation testimonies in the Teen Class. One of the girls found Lindsay after the morning service and asked "Can you show me what I can do to be saved?" Lindsay was very excited to show her from the Bible how to be saved and was able to lead her to Christ! We had prayed in the van on our way to church that the Lord would allow us to see someone saved that day and were thrilled to see the Lord directly answer our prayer.

Between honoring the oldest Dad, the Dads with the most children, and Worths "Dad of the Year", the sweet poems and "letter for Dad," the service was very thoughtful. Bro. Knickerbocker preached on our Christian heritage and the following generations. Thank you for demonstrating such kindness to us. We appreciate everything you've done.

Ya'll don't seem to get internet much...but glad you had a good father's day even though you weren't with your dads. That was rough for me too, both on mother's and father's day. Hope you're doing well. Praying for you all.
