Pastor Isbell
Wednesday, June 25, we sang and shared our salvation testimonies at Eagle Drive Baptist Church. What an encouragement it was to see so many young people in the service! Bro. Knickerbocker brought a message from Ecclesiastes entitled, "Two are Better than One." He emphasized the statement..."With you and God, it is the majority." Can we find a friend more faithful than the Lord Jesus Christ? Truly, what a friend we have in Jesus!
We are also thankful for the friends God has given to us all along the way. The children have been so eager to make us their new friends! And what a privilege it has been to meet such dear Pastors and pastors' wives this summer. "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow..." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10a)
One young girl received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior after the service! We all rejoiced with her! The Isbells were so kind to take us to Braum's for dinner. We had great fun! Thank you Pastor and Mrs. Isbell and Eagle Drive Baptist Church! You were so thoughtful and we really appreciate your generosity.
